No sid. All they had was a small bump in front of the eye. Not those egyptian pyramids you are in love with. ;D Geez... ...In the book it's CLEARLY said the ridges are actually PYRAMIDAL in shape...It's not that i'm trying to desperately prove my point,i'm just reporting what i read in that d**n book ;D

Hey, I'm not one to get too involved with theories. Sometimes they die hard. ;D Eh eh ;D Anywyay it wouldn't be the first time JP gets it right about dinos... ...First everyone complained that the Raptors in the movie were too big,and...BAM! Utahraptor pops out ;D Then, many people said the Dilophosaurus snout was wrong, and again...BAM! In '93 Dilophosaurus Sinensis is discovered, which is an almost carbon-copy of the JP Dilo (except for the frill, obviously ) ;D ;D And finally,in the last Holtz's book it is revealed that T.rex had actually lil' pyramidal hornlets above the eyes, exactly like the JP Rex ;D ;D ;D 3 more reasons to appreciate even more "Jurassic Park"

You have a point there. I always heard the Dilophosaurus head was too Rex like, but I may be wrong.

Keratin ridges on bone extremities and features scales. I dislike wattles and combs on predatory theropods; They would have needed to remain hidden to ambush prey and remain hidden from their own predators. Especially on the face. Theropods regularly bit each others faces in non-lethal combat; structures such as wattles require a lot of blood flow.
