Just decided to make a thread about my crested gecko. His name is (Cordylus, I know you will love this!) Mr. Sticky Toes ;D
When my mom was walking by (She is deftly afraid of ALL fish and reptiles) it jumped on to her face. Yes her face. lol. She about died...literally. I honestly didn't know my mom could move like she did that day. ;D

I love the species Rhacodactylus Leachinus Leachinus. They get to be like 20 inches long! That is in my top five list of herps (right under monkey-tailed skinks).

20 inches? No, no Crested Geckos don't get past 7 inches. Mine is almost an adult and only 5 inches long. Confused with a different species?

You have a Rhacodactylus Ciliatus, which normally get about 8 inches, I am talking about the new caledonian giant crested gecko, Rhacodactylus Leachinus Leachinus. Look them up, they are awesome, and 18-20 inches long!

Wish I had one. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

^ Supposedly they are very hard to care for. hatchlings go for like $400, imagine what an adult would be. ![:-X](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/lipssealed.png)

Can you believe Crested Gecko prices? Babies are like 40 dollars! I can't imagine what one of those would be as an adult. ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png)

Normal cresties go for about $80 as adults, it depends on the morph. Like flames and dalmatians go for above $100 most of the time. But those are so awesome, it is worth the money in my opinion. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

He has some really nice shades of brown and dark green. A somewhat common color scheme I think, but very nice.
