Yes, feed them anoles and house geckos, but what happens when you put a nile monitor in with the vulture? The bird better watch its feathers... ;D Tyrannus-Rex Here we go with the pointless hypothetical battles again. The vulture just flies away, waits for it to get run over, and comes back for it. And we all know large birds love feasting on particularly curious reptiles (except for turtles and tortoises, at least not that I've heard of).

Ok, shall we step it up? Howabout a crocodile? ;D But instead of the vulture put a lion in there....poor cat....
Also, i've never heard of any bird attacking a full grown monitor...now thats just stupid...it could rip the bird to shreds....

;D Argentavis would kill any stupid monitor with one bite. Its 32 degrees out and the crocodile is laying on the beach. Its easy pickings for the lion. The crocodile is not very versatile. Ok how about a Komodo Dragon and an alligator. ;D

A lion could never kill an aggressive crocodile. I've seen on youtube a lion get killed by messing with a crocodile. It was an adult female on the hunt and she got a little too close. Just one bite and anything that comes in between those jaws is a goner. An alligator would almost certainly win. Actually, komodo dragons are commonly found dead by crocodilian jaws. Does their bacterial saliva not work on crocodiles? In any case, reptiles are the ultimate killers and animals.

Crocodiles often fight and sometimes bite off each others limbs. The water they live in is filled with deadly bacteria and yet there wounds don't seem to get infected. This might help protect them from Komodo Dragon saliva. I still want to see where a Crocodile killed a Komodo Dragon. I didn't think they co-existed. ;D

Argentavis could kill anything with one bite. But those birds were probably carrion eaters, like most vultures are nowdays.
Monitor lizards are known to be prey to certain birds.
Komodo Dragons have no natural enemies, however. The larger they are, the harder they are to kill.

Yes, there are crocodiles native to Indonesia. You won't find much information about this on a computer because I can't, but have been to Indonesia (Haven't been to the komodo islands yet)I've also visited Australia, the Philippines, Jamaica, and other countries (Mom is a travel nut lol) There are many Komodo dragons there, and they sometimes fall prey (Rarely large ones, mainly 4-5 foot dragons) to crocodiles. It is rare though as dragons are solitary.
Yes, the crocodile has a strong immune system....stronger then any mammal...of course.
