I know you are stoneage, can't you take a joke?? You joke with me all the time, but it appear you can't take it. Its okay...I understand. ;D
I find the term knucklehead offensive - I'm kidding. ;D
Maybe it was made of cartilage? We can't rule out the possibility of a crest-like extremity, can we?

I can take a joke but I didn't feel using the word laid is appropriate. I realize I may have teased you to excess and upset you. I have tried to use restraint recently. I hope we can get along. If you really have a problem with me then you should just tell me and I'll do the same. I want to get along and have fun. I also know there are somethings that you know more about or have more talent then me in. So let's try and get along and except our differences.

How would evolving a cartilage ridge over the eyes help benefit the animal.

*retrieves can of stoneage repellent from garbage* Just in case...... How would evolving a cartilage ridge over the eyes help benefit the animal. ;D How would evolving an appendix benefit you? ;D A long time ago, it was used to break down cellulose. But now, since humans' diets all across the world lack many tough, fibrous plants, the appendix is becoming un-needed, and some people are starting to be born without them. It is in the process of being lost, basically. It was useful at one time though.

Keeping the sun out of its eyes?? ;D Maybe to show off to females? How do eyebrows help you? ;D Why would trex need special cartilage ornamentation to keep sun out of it's eyes when it lived in (presumeably) darkm shadowy forests? How do eyebrows help me? Simple. They help keep small debris out of the eye. Show off to females? So now only MALES have the pyramid crests over their eyes?
