No, females would have them too, but males may have had bright coloration.
Look, why on earth are you being close minded?? I'm not saying they had them, and frankly I don't care either way. I'm basically, like always, being the bad guy, and going out there to challenge popular beliefs...even if I don't believe in them myself. So, no, Tyrannosaurus probably didn't have them, but I'm starting an argument. Fun huh?
;D

Close minded? If you have seen my dinosaurs I draw, I give them spikes, dewlaps, etc. Would a close-minded person do that? ;D

Keeping the sun out of its eyes?? ;D Maybe to show off to females? How do eyebrows help you? ;D Why would trex need special cartilage ornamentation to keep sun out of it's eyes when it lived in (presumeably) darkm shadowy forests? How do eyebrows help me? Simple. They help keep small debris out of the eye. Show off to females? So now only MALES have the pyramid crests over their eyes? ;D The forest were not totally dark, there were clearings and open spaces where the sun could penetrate. Stan has the most complete T-Rex skull. There are 47 seperate bones and 35 teeth. Only two small bones from the lower jaw are missing. There are two bones on each side of the skull just above the orbit (eye socket). These two bones give T.Rex the look of heavy eyebrows and the hint of a horn-like structure above each eye. In humans eyebrows primarily are used to keep sweat out of the eye. In T-Rex most scientist believe it was used for display. ;D

Whenever I go out into the forest, I don't wear sunglasses because of "bright clearings" and "sun patches" Those little "bumps" on stan would have NOT made those huge pyramids over the eyes liek in JP Besides, they only did that in JP to make it look angry and ferocious. Ok, but still, I don't think trex sweat like humans, and even if it did, big triangles wouldn't have been very helpful.

Somehow those TINY bumps got turned into these: So yeah, it is still way inaccurate- Unless you want to believe those egyptian pyramids over the eyes were made of soft cartilage.

Here it is,Cordylus in his "extremely nit-picking mode" ;D Bear in mind that such structures don't preserve properly due to the fossilization...What was once sharp has probably been "eroded" as million of years passed Plus paleontologists FOUND evidence of a pyramidal keratinous "ridge" connecting the postorbital and lacrimal bones of at least one specimen of T.rex...

;D That's right CT the ridges were composed of Keratin just like a Rhinoceros nose horn! ;D
